No.2 Washed Denim Pants

This model is based on the #201, which was produced from 1890 to 1940 as the second line of LEVI'S 501.
Commonly known as "No.2 denim", this denim has more unevenness in the threads and a looser weave than XX, so it is lightweight, very comfortable to wear, and easily fades.
The 201 model was the only one that did not use Levi's original denim, but instead used commercially available fabric in order to allow more people to wear the denim-style 501, which was becoming increasingly popular.
The low level of spinning technology at the time resulted in the unique uneven slub texture running in the warp direction. This uneven texture was created by mixing and weaving multiple types of different shaped yarns.
The base model is from 1935 to 1937, and there are still remnants of the guarantee paper remaining on the tack buttons.
The subtle yellowish indigo color is one of the characteristics of this denim. This exquisite color was created by adjusting the number of times and time that the indigo threads were dyed, which was discovered after much research.
The grey-coloured ears, which have faded over time, also add a nice accent.
The design is the same as the 201, but the rise has been made slightly deeper, the curve of the seat has been reshaped, and the fit has been improved to make them easier to wear.
It has a beautiful tapered, moderately wide silhouette and a light, ounce feel that makes it comfortable to wear.
