A.PRESSE

A.PRESSE is a brand that started in the fall/winter of 2021, with the concept of "If you're going to buy clothes, buy good clothes, clothes that can become a part of our wardrobe." It is a Japanese brand that is based on vintage used clothing and classic military items and is committed to providing extremely simple and universal, yet high-quality clothing.
The clothes for A.PRESSE are created by three designers, led by Kazuma Shigematsu, the director who also oversees DAIWA PIER 39, a brand that is leading outdoor trends.
In addition, A. PRESSE has a theme called "CLOTHING EDITORIAL DEPARTMENT," and is a brand characterized by its style in which Kazuma Shigematsu, along with two other designers, hold repeated discussions and work as a team to create clothes as if they were editing an article.
Kazuma Shigematsu
Born in 1988.
In 2017, after working as an apparel importer, he founded Anthings.
He is responsible for direction, production, and sales for "HERILL," "WEEKEND," "DAIWA PIER39," and others.
In 2021, he started A.PRESSE as director.
Features of A.PRESSE
The biggest feature and strength of A.PRESSE is that it has no unique worldview. It is not a personal brand of director Kazuma Shigematsu, but by eliminating brand color and maintaining anonymity, it creates the ultimate in simple fashion.
Normally, fashion brands create and express their worldview through seasonal collections. However, A.PRESSE has a director and three designers who act as editorial staff who edit clothes, carefully putting together each individual idea to create one item and express it as a single item.
The appeal of the collection is that you can choose your favorite items and incorporate them into your wardrobe, rather than coordinating an entire outfit.
Coats, knitwear, shirts, pants, all of these items are completely independent, so you can add whatever you like to your closet. It's a brand that is full of richness that only fashion lovers can appreciate.

Coat
A.PRESSE's coats include military jackets that feature a double Mackinaw design and are made from a single large piece of fabric with no shoulder seams, coats with a removable full lining, and simply designed coveralls with a balanced collar like a shirt collar.

T-Shirts
These T-shirts are simple and have a loose silhouette that makes them elegant to wear, and many of them also have loose necks, giving them a sophisticated look.

Using yarns blended with high-quality white cashmere and fine organic extra-long staple cotton, the fabric has excellent heat retention and moisture retention while also being soft and smooth to the touch.
It doesn't look too sweet, so it can be used in a wide range of situations, from everyday use around town to wearing it like a sweatshirt.

Cashmere T-shirts are difficult to dye, so one of the joys of them is seeing different colors each season.
Denim jacket
Denim jackets are also must-have items, and include jackets that follow and are adapted from wartime models, as well as US ARMY denim coveralls from the 1940s.

The fabrics used include selvedge indigo denim that reproduces the thread usage of 501XX from the late 50's to early 60's, and 14oz sulfur rope dyed black denim.

The fabric has an impressive vintage feel, and through a process that can only be achieved by hand, it is finished to have the feel of an art piece.
A.PRESSE produces highly finished items, each one of which is individually crafted. Be sure to check out their upcoming lineup.

Future A.PRESSE arrival information will be updated on [ NEWS ] from time to time.
