From the raw materials to spinning, weaving and sewing, the products are made using the skills of artisans from various countries and regions.
The raw material is organic Supima cotton grown in the United States.
The cotton is spun by the traditional Swiss factory Hermann Bühler.
The thread is woven by Kaneta Orimono in Kakegawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture, using old shuttle dobby looms to create dense, textured fabric.
The woven fabric is then sewn by the Karatsu Shirt Workshop, which we also introduced in our Factories series.
