Mudguard is also vegetable tanned,
We used two materials (both cow leather) with different thicknesses, tension, and hardness.
The cutout at the toe helps to remove wrinkles.
<br>It is speculated that it may have been there originally.
It still remains as a design, but by recreating it,
I was able to discover that there is a real meaning to it.
