The fabric is characterized by its woven use of rope-dyed 40-count indigo yarn for the warp and nylon yarn that has been specially treated to give it an oily feel for the weft.
The outer fabric is a vertically faded indigo unique to rope dyeing.
The reverse side has an interesting look with the nylon weft visible.
The number of threads is also higher than usual, giving the fabric a high density and a firm feel. The reason we were able to produce such a unique fabric is because all of the dyeing, weaving, and processing is done in Okayama.
In addition, it is coated with DuPont's water-repellent and waterproof coating,
It can handle sudden rain, and the cape color, inspired by old military capes, combines unique looks and functionality.
