This cardigan features an oversized silhouette with a wider placket than usual. The ribbing at the hem is not too tight, so it can be worn lightly over a T-shirt. It is washable and highly absorbent, making it a piece that can be worn in three seasons except for the middle of winter.
Washi paper has been actively produced in Japan since the Nara period, mainly in Toyama. Washi paper has a special porous structure and is more moisture-absorbing, quick-drying, deodorizing, and UV-resistant than hemp. Made using a special manufacturing process, soft and stretchy washi yarn is twisted using traditional spinning methods to maximize the natural fluffiness of wool. By twisting it with tightly twisted wool yarn, it is an original ATON material that is resistant to sagging and has a unique firmness and smooth, dry touch.
