This blouson was created by updating a vintage flight jacket into a modern style. Taking advantage of the supple drape of the material, it is designed with a fully lined design. A moderately dry cotton milling material is used for the collar and cuffs.
"Kyoto Hanging Dyeing" is a dyeing method used at a dyeing factory with over 200 years of history in Nishijin, Kyoto, which has been involved in dyeing products for the Imperial Household for generations as the dyeing and weaving master for generations. The fabric is hung in a circle with a gap of about 8 mm between each piece, rolled up into a cylindrical shape (spiral), and dyed slowly while immersed up and down in a bathtub to prevent the fabric from rubbing against each other, giving the material elasticity. This cotton material incorporates ATON's original dyeing technology, which is characterized by the "flexibility" that occurs when the product moves.
