This active shell jacket uses SIO, a minimal pattern that is intricately shaped to fit the body and offer new comfort and mobility. (SIO is Descente's own minimal pattern that is intricately shaped taking into account various elements such as material characteristics, sewing specifications, and sewing techniques. It has fewer seams than conventional patterns, further improving mobility and wind and water resistance.)

We use ENTRANT DT, a 2.5-layer material with a special coating on the membrane surface that provides high waterproofness, breathability, and dry touch performance.
StreamLine Technology designed into the sleeves and hood controls the direction of water droplets when it rains.
In addition to the conventional water-repellent treatment, we have also pursued greater wearing comfort by controlling the flow of water.
In addition, the hood uses the Parahood System, which not only allows the hood to be stored compactly when not in use, but also prevents water from pooling on the hood.
