This model inherits the design of the Sierra Parka, a heritage model of THE NORTH FACE that was released in 1969 and can be said to be the prototype of outdoor down parkas. The padding is made of 600 fill power down, which is lighter than it looks. The fabric has a vintage-processed wrinkled look and is water-repellent, so it can withstand light rain and snow. The hood is removable. The large pockets with flaps create an eye-catching boxy silhouette, making this a piece that is easy to coordinate with everyday wear.
