This pair of boots is an adaptation of "TACHYON", a tactical training boot supplied by Danner to the US military.
The height was originally 8 inches, but was changed to 6 inches to match modern bottoms.
While still providing a high level of fit, it is easy to put on and take off, making it suitable for both town use and day hikes.
The upper is made of suede and nylon and is unlined, giving it a nice texture and lightweight feel.
Another notable feature is that the inner ventilation holes, eyelets, and Speed Racer-style hardware are all unified in coyote color.
The cushioned EVA midsole and pentagonal lug pattern outsole are slightly different colors from the upper, giving the shoe a sense of depth even though they are the same color.
The shoes are comfortable to wear as they use a cup insole with excellent cushioning properties.
