Carlijn Jacobs was born in the Netherlands in 1991. He studied photography at the King Willem Academy in Rotterdam and received acclaim. He began his career as a fashion photographer, gaining popularity for his style inspired by surrealism, art deco and camp, and has worked on advertising campaigns for high-end brands such as Chanel, Moncler, Berluti and Versace, as well as appearing in French and Italian editions of Vogue, AnOther Magazine and M le Monde. Mannequin will be published by Art Paper Editions in 2021. He is also participating in the Foam Museum group exhibition. He currently lives in Paris.
