The now defunct Canadian workwear brand Great Western Garment
A model based on 40's painter pants.
GWG is a brand that was acquired by Levi's in the 1970s.
The outer material is an original denim created with the aim of recreating vintage clothing.
The thick weft yarn used in the 13oz class is densely arranged,
The warp threads have a nep texture due to the immature spinning technology of the time,
This is achieved by using cotton waste and weaving it in at a high density.
The pocket details remain the same, but the color stitching and
Hammer loops, formerly known as red straps,
Blend it in so that it doesn't stand out too much,
We have designed it so that the material and silhouette stand out even more.
The person who wore it must have taken good care of it.
Beautiful vertical fall with little hit feeling, etc.
The natural texture that changes slowly over time is recreated using skilled craftsmanship.
*The original tack buttons are made of iron and may discolor or rust over time.
