The Republic of Uganda is blessed with a rich natural environment, with abundant water sources from Lake Victoria and the Nile River, and is located directly on the equator. Cotton cultivation that protects the environment is carried out mainly in the northern region, and the country is promoting this initiative nationwide as a way to contribute to sustainable development in Uganda.
The denim fabric used is made in Japan using organic cotton grown in the Republic of Uganda as the weft thread. The hems have been torn off, giving the garment a distressed look, with tears and scuffs here and there, giving it a look that makes it hard to believe it is brand new.
