This is a collaborative sneaker that combines doublet's original ideas with ASICS' advanced craftsmanship.

The shoe concept is based on ASICS SportStyle in-line shoe boxes and cardboard.
The upper of the shoe is made of Ortholite™, known for its high-performance insoles and spec stickers that indicate the shoe size and color name.
Designed as a homage to the label.
It is made of a color-changing material similar to cardboard,
You can enjoy the change in color over time as you continue to wear them.
In addition, the material uses a corrugated cross section that mimics the cross section of cardboard.
The included shoelaces are blue.
It is inspired by the vinyl tape used to hold cardboard boxes together.
The shoe box is also designed with great attention to detail.

According to designer Ino, "Wouldn't it be interesting if a shoebox itself could be turned into a sneaker? Wouldn't that be eco-friendly?" This is the basis for the GEL-KAYANO 20's completely original upper design.
The actual shoe box (front) has the cut lines for the uppers and other parts written on it.
By cutting these out, customers can transform their shoebox into sneakers with their own hands.
