ECWCS GEN3 level 7 is a jacket designed for use in the harshest cold climates.
This time we have created a lightweight shell parka modeled after the most famous icon available for the USMC.
This jacket is a superior outer layer designed to provide maximum comfort for bivouac, rest and sit-down activities, it is designed without all unnecessary features to enhance comfort and performance and is cut large to fit over multiple garments.
The shell material is EPIC by Nextec® shell, which is made of carefully selected, tested microfiber impregnated with a thin layer of silicone.
This material is lightweight, windproof, highly waterproof, breathable and abrasion resistant.
The sleeves have Cordura reinforcement panels, and the hood and waist openings have elasticated barrel lock closures that can be easily adjusted even with gloves on.
There are two mesh pockets on the inside of the jacket, large enough to dry socks or gloves while still wearing the jacket.
It also has wide ventilation at the sides, making it a lightweight jacket.
*3XDRY® Schoelle® Switzerland
3XDRY is a Schoeller innovation that combines two technologies in one fabric.
The fabric on both sides is treated using this technology, giving the surface a waterproof and stain-resistant function that repels water, mud, dirt, etc. and prevents stains.
The inside of the material quickly absorbs water vapor and sweat and evaporates it close to the body, which cools you down and allows you to use more energy when you're active.
It has excellent moisture control, keeping your body dry and comfortable for long periods of time.
You can also wash it in your home washing machine, and the clothes will dry quickly after washing.
It has such a drying function that the drying time is reduced to about one-fifth compared to unprocessed fibers.
