The MA-1 is based on the type issued to ground crew by the US military in the 1980s.
The fabric used is a twill made from a combination of nylon and Suvin cotton, and although the surface looks matte, it is smooth and silky to the touch.
Both the body and sleeves have a wide fit, so you won't feel cramped even if you wear an inner layer.
Another highlight is the rugged Scovill zipper.
The filling is made of TORAY's ultra-fine fibers, which have low thermal conductivity.
Once heat is absorbed, it does not easily let it escape, and when compared at the same layer, it is twice as warm as down.
