The warp thread is made of the highest quality 6A silk filament 21/2, and the weft thread is made of two strands of nylon 70d twisted together to give it a medium thickness, making this a 2/2 twill material developed for outerwear.
By using double-ply nylon threads, a small cavity is created in the weave, and by applying a washer process, we aim to create a material that better expresses a vintage feel.
It has a texture that combines the luster that is characteristic of silk, the silky feel that is unique to raw silk (sericin has been carefully removed, resulting in a smooth surface), and the softness that is characteristic of nylon.
