As the name suggests, this is a classic rice ball-shaped daypack made to be large enough for a two-day trip.
While incorporating heavy-duty specifications from the 1970s (leather tabs, pig nose, rivets on the leather parts that fasten the harness, etc.), we have updated it to a modern style with easy-to-use and functional designs such as a slit inside for a PC and a multi-pocket inside the front pocket.
The leather strap at the bottom is a simple strap designed to allow you to roll up and store outerwear and shirts when you take them off.
Since it is made from the same material as the Alpine Mountain Parka, you can enjoy coordinating it with other items.
Fabric
Exterior: Nylon grosgrain/Down jacket The outer fabric is a grosgrain weave with nylon warp threads and taslan nylon weft threads.
This material is characterized by the natural fiber touch that is unique to Taslan nylon.
The surface is treated with a water-repellent and waterproof coating to prevent water from entering from the outside.
In addition, the back side is coated with a breathable material to prevent stuffiness inside the garment and also provides wind resistance, achieving extremely high performance in terms of specifications.
Inside: EPIC Standard
This durable functional material uses NEXTEC's "EPIC" silicone encapsulation technology, which is also used in the US military's ECWCS layering system, to apply a silicone barrier to the inside of the fibers, which significantly reduces the absorbency of the fabric and retains its water-repellent properties even after washing.
It is a very light and lightweight yet durable fabric.
